The Little Prince of Today. Part 3.

The Hawk

At least once a week, a beautiful Hawk was visiting our Little Prince. It came and settled on one of his shoulders, and seemed to whisper something in his ear. He listened attentively and then said things very quietly, in a language that nobody could understand.

His mother watched him self-absorbed, but as she knew his great passion for Nature, she believed that he had managed to tame the Falcon and played with it.

So they spent long minutes together, until the bird gently placed its beak on the lips of the Little Prince, as a sort of kiss goodbye. Then started the flight and disappeared behind the clouds.

The fact is that the Hawk was in fact an Emissary of his Planet that assumed that figure not to create suspicions, and came to inform him about different facts that happened there, in their Planet, and to ask for his opinion, his advice on how to act in this or that circumstance.

There were moments in which our Prince could be isolate some beautiful place of Nature, and if one observed it attentively, it seemed to be in dialogue with the flowers, with the birds, with the fish, and with other species of the area. He spent so long, after which he returned to his daily activities looking happy and shining like a star.

Neither his mother, nor his sister, nor his grandmother, nor his family in general, knew Owen's great secret. They could not know. It was not the time yet.
